It IS the Thanksgiving celebration of Israel and all the grafted in ones.
As we begin this joyous event, let us reflect on an interesting fact.
Yeshua came down to earth in the temporary "tent" of flesh to seek out His lost sheep and bring them into the fold.

Yeshua came down to earth in the temporary "tent" of flesh to seek out His lost sheep and bring them into the fold.
And the Word became flesh, and did tabernacle among us, and we beheld his glory, glory as of an only begotten of a father, full of grace and truth. (Jn. 1:14 - Youngs Literal Translation)
Look at what the Expanded Bible has to say about that:
The Word became ·a human [flesh] and ·lived [made his home; pitched his tabernacle; God’s glorious presence dwelt in Israel’s tabernacle in the wilderness] among us. We saw his ·glory [majesty]—the glory that belongs to the ·only Son [one and only; only begotten] ·of [who came from] the Father—and he was full of ·grace and truth [God’s gracious love and faithfulness; Ex. 34:5–7].
During this excellent season (the time-frame of Jesus' birth) we can receive the ultimate blessing as stated in the scripture: that the fortunes of the tents of Jacob will be restored. (Jer. 30:18) Every year as we celebrate thanksgiving under the sukkah, we can remember that Yeshua is our shelter and that within a family, the husband is an extra layer of covering for his wife and children.
Happy Tabernacles!
It is tabernacles throughout the dispersion of His people. Enjoy this short video from a ministry in the Himalayas.
