Soak in these blessings from Heaven.
Matthew 5:3-10
“Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.
Blessed are those who mourn,
for they shall be comforted.
Blessed are the gentle,
for they shall inherit the earth.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness,
for they shall be filled.
Blessed are the merciful,
for they shall obtain mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they shall be called children of God.
Blessed are those who have been persecuted for righteousness’ sake,
for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.
I am a firm believer in achieving victory through the power of praise and proclamation. I believe that these words are meant to be as comforting as they sound.
Have you ever tried praying the awesome words of Yeshua? I believe these words can be proclaimed with confidence over each other and over ourselves. Do you have a friend who is low? One who has been brought down to a place of poorness, emptiness? Proclaim the mighty words of Yeshua/Jesus, the one in whom there is life, the one whose life is the very light of men.
Think of this: Sometimes without a moment of emptiness, we would not seek to be filled. I know I almost never visit the gas station unless I'm lower than a quarter of a tank in the jalopy. Sometimes, without anyone sensing our hour of need, we would not receive the blessings of the prayers of our brothers and sisters in the kingdom.
What if we could look at our blessings the moment we know we are in extra need. What if we saw the blessing for our friends and loved ones before we see their victory? It is important to come to the well daily, but in those times when we are super dry, you never know, a messenger might show up and give us endless water.
Your challenge today: Pray the words of Matthew 5:3-10 over someone. Ask the Holy Ruach for the name of someone. Then pray them over your family today. There's more power there than we may realize.
