"Then God said, “Let there be light”... Then God said, “Let there be an expanse in the midst of the waters... Then God said, “Let the waters below the heavens be gathered into one place, and let the dry land appear... Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night... Then God said, “Let the waters teem with swarms of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth... Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth living creatures after their kind... Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness..." (All from Genesis 1 NASB)
Those are pretty powerful words. By Elohim's words, we were all created. The very forces of nature still obey His word. Yeshua showed us that when He calmed the storm.
Don't forget His power to speak over your storms. Don't forget that the very words which are recorded in scripture are sharper than a two edged sword. If you have the choice between sword and His Word. Choose Word.
Speaking to a fish can make it become a feast. Speaking over a dry well, can make eternal waters.
How powerful are you? How much power do you hold? Those can, and should, be different questions. I have seen many weeknesses in my life. I have wobbled at the knee and faltered in my resolve. But I can truly take walls and mountains that I could never imagine before. Because I know the power that I hold doesn't come from shaky old me.
I can stand next to a mountain and speak to its moving. I can proclaim whatever the Holy Ruach leads me to speak. The power should not surprise me. Really, it should not catch anyone off guard who knows my giftings. Most people already know I can barely move a mole up a hill with Paul Power.
He must increase and I must decrease. It appears that I have found Him to increase when I decrease. What a design. Power team phone book ripping is nothing next to mountain flipping.
Be strong and courageous, my friends. YHWH is with you. His Word is in you, on your tongue, in your heart. When He is near you power is with you. Receive His help. Praise Him. Do not be dismayed. He will calm your tempest with His Word. Amen?
